My big annoucement...

Okay so I have some news I have been withholding from my blog, but its time...I'm Pregnant!!! I am 16 weeks along and starting to show just a little. It's all very exciting and if I can avoid it I NEVER, EVER want to EVER go through this again. For those who don't know I've been rolled over by an Indiana Jones boulder of nauseous and if it weren't for modern medications I would have been been getting food through IVs. I also recently started getting migraines (around February is when they started) my doctor told me that they would either get better, stay the same or get worse...mine got worse. Unfortunately there isn't too much medication I can for use for migraines while I am pregnant, except Tylenol, which is about as helpful as doing a voodoo dance in front a crystal ball. Basically I've been a miserable wreck... I could go on and on but I wont, instead I've posted a picture of my stomach for your enjoyment :)

I am feeling a lot better, thank the maker! I am still queezy throughout the day and I am always walking on eggshells with my headaches, but I am glad I am through the worst of it. Thank you so much for all those who were so kind to me throughout this whole ordeal. So much of my family consistently called and visited to lift my spirits. You all really did, thank you!

This is what my baby kind of looks like...we find out its sex in a couple weeks. I want everyone to make a prediction...so please comment let me know if you think we're going to have a boy or a girl!

Anyway, I'll keep you all updated!

I'll guess girl - that way our girls can have play dates whre they play with dolls and a little kitchen. :) Or a boy and they can play with each other when they are 21.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! I am so happy for you guys :) And what belly are you talking about?!?!?! You'd be scared if I posted mine right now (crazy what having #2 will do to ya - popping a hole lot sooner!) I'm gonna guess...boy. I can't wait to for you guys to find out what it is, your belly to grow bigger, and for you to continue to post pics! What an exciting time for you guys - hope you feel better and enjoy every minute :)

Congratulations! Sorry about the morning sickness- it gets better, though.

If you have a girl, you can name her Melanie!

Congrats!! My symptoms were much the same when I was prego with Evie - only mine started in the 2nd trimester. It was hell, mind my french, but it was. :) That's why I keep telling Dave not to ask about how far apart we want our kids, because I still remember the sickness! Evie turned out to be a great baby, so I think that's the Lord's reward for us that get so sick. :)

Congratulations Leah! You're belly is super cute:) I hope you get feeling better soon. I'm not gonna lie...pregnancy is one of the hardest things I've ever done! But it is totally worth it:)

My guess is a boy!

Thank you for blog sharing! Oh, Leah (middle name) Florence... I am so excited for this news. You are going to be such a great mommy to your little baby girl. (he he, you can tell my guess.) I am sorry that you have had to be so sick and migrainey... I really hope you continue to feel better. And look at your cute little tummy! You sooo look like how I look after a million and one sit ups in that picture... not 4 months pregnant!! Good luck and keep us updated!! (only if you feel up to it, of course)

I am so happy for you! I am 20 weeks now so we are just one month apart! that sucks about the sickness, I hope it will continue to get better!!
We just found out Tuesday that we are having a girl, and we thought it was a boy. The first thing I thought about what you're having is a girl, which probably means you're having a boy! he he he :)

Congratulations Leah! I'm sorry that you've had so much morning sickness, that's the pits. Most people say it gets better as you get into the second trimester, and it's been true for me so far! Hopefully it's the same for you and the second trimester goes much much better than the first. I really want to guess boy for you because I feel like everyone guesses girl... but I still feel like guessing girl. Good luck with the pregnancy! Glad I found your blog :)

Hooray for the upcoming addition! But, I am so sorry about the all-night-day-weekend sickness. I hope you'll get to feeling better as you get further along.

Just for kicks - I'm guessing you're having TRIPLETS!!!! Yeah for triplets! Nah, I'm guessin' a girl.

And I didn't leave a comment on your post about prop 8, but I read it and all the comments. And a big kudos to you woman! I was thoroughly impressed that you would be so outspoken about it in HS. I don't know if I could have done that. I've read probably close to a million blog posts from friends talking about peacefully protesting on corners and getting open beer cans thrown at them, amongst other things, cars that have the bumper sticker are getting keyed, it's insane. It was waaay more mild with prop 22. But I also LOVE how it strengthens people's testimony in the church. It's kind of sad to see some people speak against the church, but the work will go on!

Anyway, back to you, congrats on the prego-ness. I REALLY hope you start feeling less sick very, very soon!! You will be the cutest pregnant woman ever - I'm positive!

I can't believe I missed your annoucement (having a baby will do that to ya :P)! CONGRATS!!! I'm sooooo excited for you. You'll just be the best mom.

Sorrry about the morning sickness. If it makes you feel any better, Ezra was by far my worst sickness wise (I was sick as a dog for the majority of my pregnancy) and it's gotten progressively easier with each pregnancy. (((hugs))) I know it sucks, though.
