Ahhhhh!!!!!! Sam has arrived!!!!!

I will post a more comprehensive report of my labor later, but I don't want to do it now because I really just want to post pictures of how amazingly cute our baby is. I think you all understand. Just so you know everything went extremely well and our little one is healthy, alert and happy. Life really can be so fulfilling!

Hooray! I love the 4th pic down...classic newborn face. Good luck in the coming weeks when things get even more crazy. Just remember that people somehow survive and actually decide to go through it again!

YAY!!!! Now hurry up and get down here so we can hang out. I just love holding children smaller than my own!

Congrats!!!! Now here are some things I suggest you should keep on hand - lansinoh, (if you are breastfeeding), tucks (if you had any, uh, trauma down there), the 600mg motrin, a good book (feedings can take a long time and I had to keep my mind going so I wouldn't fall asleep watching the baby), and a huge jug of water. Then sit back and enjoy the beautiful baby you have!

His sweet newborn face make me so darn baby hungry!

CONGRATULATIONS!! I hope everything is going well with you and your new bundle of joy. Parenthood is definitely an adventure, but it's a lot of fun. I'm very excited for you both! Best of luck in your upcoming adventures :)

I can't stop crying! He is so perfect. I think he looks a lot like Hank! Especially when you see the picture of Hank holding him. I love that picture (the one where hank is holding sam) because you are in the background smiling like life couldn't get any better! I can't wait until you move down here! WE love you guys and love Sam! xoxo

Ahhh, what a cutie! I love those cute little cheeks! I can't wait for more details.

I second Kristin's suggestions-they're all really good. The best advice I can give is just to hold your baby as much as you want (especially 'cause he's your first). Pretty soon, he's going to get to big to hold all the time and then there's going to be more babies and the first will be pulling on you all the time while you're trying to hold the second...well, you get the idea;) Congrats again!
